Authorities have arrested more than a dozen suspects in an undercover internet operation in which they posed as juveniles online, according to Metro Police.

Eighteen suspects were taken into custody Dec. 1 and Dec. 2 for allegedly arranging to meet up with the undercover agents online, police reported.

Those arrested include Ryan Maness, 29; Concepcion Burgos, 53; Brandon Parnell, 30; Anthony Napoles, 19; Missael Melo, 26; Mark Anico, 29; Norberto Colunga, 34; Miguel Perez-Solis, 30; Juan Diaz-Iniguez, 31; Chasen Whitton, 22; Ricardo Gurrola, 23; Perry Spencer, 34; Randolph Minnis, 26; Justin Book, 36; Nathan Isiwa-Bongwalanga, 26; Brandon Johnson, 26; Brian Galvez, 30; and Lisandro Gutierrez-Navarro, 27, the release stated.

The suspects were booked into the Clark County Detention Center on various charges, police said, which included luring a minor with a computer to engage in sexual acts and attempted sexual assault with a victim under 14.

The sweep came as a result of a joint undercover internet operation carried out by the Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force. The effort also included members of Metro, Henderson and North Las Vegas police, the FBI, Homeland Security, US Air Force, and the Nevada Attorney General, according to the report.
