NFC running back Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints (41) runs during Pro Bowl NFL football practice, Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Las Vegas.

Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints was arrested Saturday in Las Vegas on a battery charge for an incident at a nightclub on the Strip, according to Metro Police.

Police were dispatched to an area hospital where a person reported being battered at a nightclub located in the 3500 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard, according to a news release.

Kamara was identified as the suspect and taken into custody without incident, police said. He was booked for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm at the Clark County Detention Center.

Kamara was one of the many NFL players in town this weekend for the Pro Bowl. Despite the arrest, the running back still played in the game today at Allegiant Stadium, where he caught four passes for 26 yards for the NFC.
