Fans will no longer be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend UNLV basketball home games at the Thomas & Mack Center, the university announced this evening.

The next game is Feb. 19 against Colorado State.

The decision was made after Gov. Steve Sisolak earlier today lifted the state mask mandate, officials said in a news release. Mask wearing will be optional inside the arena.

In a news release the university said, “UNLV Athletics will continue to follow state and local health recommendations and continues to encourage anyone eligible to be vaccinated.”
