The UNLV football team added a series with Houston and a road game at Kansas to its future schedule, the university announced today.
In 2024, the Rebels will travel to Houston on Aug. 31 and Kansas on Sept. 14. UNLV will host Houston at Allegiant Stadium on Sept. 9, 2028. Houston will join the Big 12 Conference next year; Kansas is already a member.
Additionally, UNLV was initially scheduled to play UCLA in 2024, but that series was moved to Allegiant Stadium in 2025 and Los Angeles in 2031.
The university also announced the football team will host Bryant on Aug. 31, 2023, and Utah Tech (formerly Dixie State) on Sept. 7, 2024. Additionally, UNLV will play Sept. 23, 2023, at UTEP. The 2023 schedule already included a Sept. 9, 2023, game at Michigan — when UNLV is guaranteed a school-record $1.5 million.
UNLV opens the 2022 season Aug. 27 against visiting Idaho State. On Oct. 22, it plays at Notre Dame.
