Nevada Democrats, Republicans together spend over $8M on campaigns

Nevada Democrats combined to spend about $4.3 million in the last three months on their midterm election campaigns, and Republicans spent about $4 million.

Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak’s campaign raised $1.7 million between April 1 and June 30, spent $461,586 and is sitting on a $10.7 million war chest, according to the Nevada Secretary of State’s website. Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo’s gubernatorial campaign raised $822,204, spent $2.5 million and has $1.2 million on hand.

Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto raised $3.8 million, spent $3,048,669 and has $9.8 million on hand, according to data provided to the Federal Election Commission. In his bid to oust her, former Attorney General Adam Laxalt raised $1.2 million between May 26 and June 30, spent $1,268,763 and has $2.1 million cash on hand.

Democratic Rep. Dina Titus in Congressional District 1 raised $424,253 between May 26 and June 30, spent $42,029 and has $1.7 million on hand. Her Republican opponent Mark Robertson raised $58,465, spent $48,737 and has $198,689 on hand.

Republican Rep. Mark Amodei in Congressional District 2 raised $88,025 between May 26 and June 30, spent $53,247 and has $298,403 on hand. His Democratic opponent E. Mercedes Krause has no data on the Federal Election Commission website.

Democratic Rep. Susie Lee representing Congressional District 3 raised $552,640 between May 26 and June 30, spent $625,450 and has $2.5 million on hand. Republican challenger April Becker raised $134,432, spent $86,314 and has $360,528 on hand.

Democratic Rep. Steven Horsford in Congressional District 4 raised $551,246 between May 26 and June 30, spent $126,303 and has $2.5 million on hand. His opponent Sam Peters raised $96,433, spent $75,933 and has $162,595 on hand.
