Passenger numbers at Harry Reid International Airport continued to climb in April, according to a report released today.

More than 4.2 million passengers arrived and departed from the Las Vegas airport last month, a 46% increase from April 2021, according to the Clark County Department of Aviation.

The April total was about 28,000 passengers short of the April 2019 pre-pandemic total.

Through the first four months of this year, the airport has recorded just over 15 million passengers. If that pace continued throughout the year, the airport would tally close to 45 million passengers, about 6.5 million less than in 2019.

Last year, 39.7 million passengers arrived and departed Harry Reid International.

About 200,000 international travelers passed through the airport in April, up about 170,000 from the same month in 2021.

Through the first four months of this year, the airport has served nearly 549,000 international passengers, compared to about 758,000 for all of last year.

For 2019, before the pandemic, that figure was about 3.8 million.
