MGM Resorts International plans to build a grandstand along the Strip for the Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix on Nov. 18, 2023.

MGM Resorts International plans to build grandstand seating along the Strip in front of the Bellagio for next year’s Formula One race.

Race festivities for the Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix are set for Nov. 16-18, 2023. The race course will include a section of the Strip.

The grandstand will go over the artificial Bellagio lake, which sits between the resort and the Strip, MGM officials said.

Access to the seats will be available only through an MGM race-and-stay package, which includes multiday stays at a number of MGM Strip hotels, including the Bellagio.

For a package with a three-night stay at the Bellagio and a seat in the grandstand area, prices start at about $1,700, according to MGM’s website.

"In just over a year, F1 fans from around the globe will see how Las Vegas throws a party," Steve Zanella, MGM’s chief commercial officer, said in a statement.

"In addition to the Bellagio Grandstands, which will set new standards for event viewing, we will create a round-the-clock celebration worthy of this international spectacular," Zanella said.
