The rapper Blueface allegedly fired multiple rounds at a man who made a joke at his expense outside a Las Vegas strip club last month, according to a warrant for his arrest.

Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, was arrested about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday on charges stemming from the October shooting in the 6300 block of Windy Road, according to Metro Police.

The victim, identified in the arrest warrant as Kentabius Traylor, told police he was at a strip club early on Oct. 8 when he recognized Porter, 25, as Blueface and had a conversation with him. While exiting the venue later around 4:00 a.m., Traylor made a joke about how Porter had been talking to a few women in a “cheap vehicle.”

A group of men he believed to be part of Porter’s “entourage” then struck Traylor multiple times, the arrest warrant said. Surveillance footage from the strip club also showed Traylor being beaten. He attempted to leave in his truck when Porter allegedly produced a firearm and fired at least two times at the vehicle.

Traylor continued to speed out of the parking lot, hitting other vehicles in his haste to flee, and eventually sought medical attention before reporting the incident to police. His vehicle showed evidence of a shooting, including a whole bullet that was discovered inside the car, and he suffered a bullet graze wound to his hand and multiple bruises, the arrest warrant said.

Police identified Porter as the suspect after matching the outfit of the shooter seen in surveillance video to what Porter was wearing in social media posts he made the night of the shooting.

Porter was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for attempted murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied vehicle, police said.
