Kevin Hart will make his Resorts World debut the same weekend Adele opens at Caesars Palace.

Arguably the biggest comic movie star on the planet these days, Kevin Hart will headline a limited engagement at Resorts World Las Vegas on November 18-19, taking over Resorts World Theatre for two nights of stand-up comedy that will be filmed for his next TV special. Tickets will go on sale to the public on September 9 at kevinhartnation.com for the AEG Presents-produced performances. It will be Hart’s first time at the gleaming new Resorts World venue, as he played the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in July and performed at MGM Grand Garden Arena last summer, but these new events also add more heavy firepower to a huge weekend on the Strip. Adele opens her delayed and long-awaited residency show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on November 18-19, and those two nights will also see performances by Wisin & Yandel at MGM Grand, Keith Sweat at Virgin, Billy Idol at the Cosmopolitan, Aerosmith at Dolby Live and Jo Koy at T-Mobile Arena.

Another beloved comedian and Vegas regular is shifting venues for his next shows on the Strip. George Lopez, who just wrapped up a few nights at the Mirage Theatre where he’s been part of the Aces of Comedy series lineup for years, will bring his new comedy tour “OMG Hi!” to the Luxor Theater, home to “America’s Got Talent Live Las Vegas,” on November 11-12. Tickets go on sale today, September 6, at ticketmaster.com and luxor.mgmresorts.com. Lopez is also working on bringing his Chingon Kitchen restaurant to Las Vegas with a location at the Strat scheduled to debut later this year near the north Strip resort’s LA Comedy Club.

More new concert and entertainment event announcements this week include: Latin Grammy nominee Chiquis will perform at the House of Blues on November 17; “Sesame Street Live: Make Your Magic” lands at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center November 19-20; comedian Bobby Bones will take the stage at Encore Theater at Wynn on December 3; and classic rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd will play back-to-back nights at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on December 9-10 during National Finals Rodeo season in Las Vegas.
