Power restored to some; about 900 still powerless in Las Vegas valley

Nevada Energy was reporting about 890 customers out of power from 16 different outage incidents in Clark County as of about 10:30 p.m. according to its outage map. 

About 729 customers remained out of power near East Sahara Avenue and South Eastern Avenue because of a “pole mounted equipment failure.”

About 3,000 other customers lost power briefly but had the service restored by the end of the night Friday.
