The Silverado football team continued its winning ways into a new season on Friday night by beating visiting Cimarron-Memorial, 38-0.
Quarterback Dwain Elliot completed 9 of 15 passes for 95 yards, and rushed for two touchdowns to carry the two-time defending state champion Skyhawks to the opening night win. Silverado hasn’t lost since 2019.
Marcus Council had a pair of touchdown runs and Tristan Hudson also found the endzone. The Silverado defense stole the show with seven sacks.
