Streaming platform ViewLift and the Golden Knights have agreed to a partnership to stream the team’s games beginning this season, the organizations announced today.

The pay streaming service, which will complement the Golden Knights’ new TV deal with Scripps Sports, will launch Sept. 24.

More features will be announced in the coming weeks, according to the announcement.

In addition to games airing on KMCC-TV, ViewLift will stream Golden Knights games and content on the web, iOS and Android devices, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Vizio and Xbox.

"Our alliance with ViewLift and Scripps Sports enables our fans throughout the region to enjoy the action on whatever device they choose and from wherever they are," Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz said in a statement.

"We will give our fans every possible option to interact with the team and watch hockey live and on demand," Bubolz said. "It’s essential that our TV and digital services reflect our Stanley Cup-winning, on-ice performance, and I know that with Scripps Sports and ViewLift, we will achieve this."

The Golden Knights will be the second NHL team to partner with ViewLift to air games, joining the Washington Capitals. ViewLift’s Washington, D.C.-based service, Monumental Sports Network, airs games for the Capitals, the NBA’s Washington Wizards, the WNBA’s Washington Mystics and the G-League’s Capital City GoGo.

An annual plan for Monumental Sports Network costs $49.99. Prices have not been announced for the Golden Knights’ service.

“We are honored to be the reigning Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights’ digital partner and to work with the team and Scripps Sports to bring the action to all local VGK fans,” ViewLift CEO Rick Allen said in a statement.

The Sun reported Thursday that details about the KMCC deal, including how and where to watch games for free on TV this season, are expected to be announced this week.

Like the free TV service, the direct-to-consumer option will be available to fans in Northern and Southern Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming.
