Golden Knights’ Stanley Cup parade set for Saturday on Strip

Plan your commute accordingly if you want to see the Golden Knights on the Strip this weekend.

The parade and rally to celebrate the new Stanley Cup champions will take place on Las Vegas Boulevard on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The parade route will start on Flamingo Road and extend through Tropicana Avenue. A rally will follow at Toshiba Plaza and the Park District, outside T-Mobile Arena, starting at approximately 9 p.m.

Both sides of Las Vegas Boulevard will be closed during the parade, which is expected to be a two-mile route.

Broadcast details and further information will be released as it becomes available.

The Golden Knights won the first Stanley Cup in franchise history on Tuesday in a 9-3 victory over the Florida Panthers in Game 5 at T-Mobile Arena.
