The Beatles Love” will continue for another year at the Mirage.

We caught a hint of this in last week’s column when we noticed a comedy show scheduled at the Mirage for 2024, but this week brought some more good news for fans of the iconic Strip resort and its equally legendary entertainment offerings. Sometime soon, the Mirage will begin evolving into a new Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, but Cirque du Soleil’s one-of-a-kind production “The Beatles Love” will continue performances through “at least 2024,” according to the latest announcement. “We’re excited this extension gives our show the opportunity to reach even more audiences, and we thank our hard-working cast and crew for making dreams come to life,” said Eric Grilly, president of the resident show division. Hard Rock International officials have previously stated the resort will continue operating as the Mirage throughout 2023 with renovations and construction slated for next year and a hopeful 2025 debut of the new hotel and casino in 2025. Surely that timeline will be updated soon, but in the meantime, “Love” continues Tuesday through Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m., with tickets available at cirquedusoleil.com/beatles-love.

In more Cirque news, the cast of “Michael Jackson One” will surprise guests and Mandalay Bay employees with an impromptu performance on June 29 celebrating the show’s 10th anniversary. The MJ tribute extravaganza has been seen by more than five million guests and is one of three Cirque du Soleil shows marking landmark anniversaries in 2023; “O” at Bellagio turns 25 and “Mystère” at Treasure Island hits the 30-year mark later this year.

Ground-breaking hip-hop and R&B artist Doja Cat has announced her Scarlet Tour dates coming to arenas across North America this fall, and she’s planning to hit T-Mobile Arena along the way on November 3. Tickets will be available for registered fans at axs.com starting with a presale June 28 and a general sale on June 30.

Here are the rest of this week’s Vegas entertainment event announcements: comedy favorite Gabriel Iglesias is back at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan on September 15 and 16; Texas one-man-band Shakey Graves lands at the Theater at Virgin on October 1; hard rock icons Alice In Chains play Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on October 10; pop artist Andy Grammer returns to play the Grand Events Center at Green Valley Ranch Resort on November 3; Korean-American entertainer Eric Nam makes a tour stop at Brooklyn Bowl on November 10; and country chart-topper Charley Crockett will perform at the Theater at Virgin on December 12.

The Still at the Mirage is introducing a new live music series this week, a Friday night jam set for 8 p.m. every week focused on rock and country tunes. Zach Ryan takes the stage on June 30 with Jase Naron scheduled for July 7 and Dan Fester for July 14. For more info, visit thestillvegas.com.
