The Westgate International Theater officially has another resident headlining act. Kool & The Gang has performed several shows there in the last year and a half, and now the R&B and soul icons have signed on to rotate with Barry Manilow in one of the city’s most historic showrooms through 2024. Kool & The Gang will be back at Westgate on Oct. 5-7 and already have concerts lined up from February through October next year. Tickets go on sale May 19 via Ticketmaster.
In case you missed it, U2 added eight more “UV Achtung Baby Live” concert residency dates to its schedule at Sphere this year, now totaling 25 performances starting on Sept. 29 and running through Dec. 16. The new ones are Dec. 1-16 and tickets (starting at $140) are available via Ticketmaster.

Wiseguys comedy club, which has been stirring things up in the Arts District downtown with some serious talent, recently announced its Las Vegas expansion on Instagram. Wiseguys at Town Square is coming in late summer, according to the post, which stated the “lease is signed, demo is done, paint is happening, sound and lighting is next!” This week, the downtown spot hosts Nacho Redondo on May 18 and Jenna Kim Jones May 19 and 20.
