Crew Dannels passed for three touchdowns Friday night for the Palo Verde football team in a 42-14 league win against Spring Valley.

Furious Hoskins had two touchdown receptions and Slade Knoch caught the other, helping the Panthers remain undefeated in league 5A Division III Southern League games.

When Spring Valley scored in the second half it marked the first time Palo Verde’s defense had been scored on in three league games. The Panthers’ other wins in league have come by 33 and 49 points.

Palo Verde could be considered a favorite to win the state championship, but first must get through Legacy next week. It’s the de facto league championship game.
