Christina Aguilera is bringing a new show to Voltaire at Venetian.

Voltaire, the intimate new venue coming to the Venetian and home to the ground-breaking residency from international pop star Kylie Minogue beginning Nov. 3, will also host performances by former Strip resident headliner Christina Aguilera for New Year’s Eve weekend on Dec. 30 and 31. "I look forward to bringing Las Vegas a new show that fuses music, sophistication and art in ways I have never performed before,” Aguilera said in a statement. “What I love about the intimacy at Voltaire is how up-close-and-personal I can be with the audience, a truly modern twist on the performance experience.” Additional dates are expected to be announced later this week for the 1,000-seat space. The Sick New World Festival returns for year two at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on April 27, and its lineup of hard rock and alternative acts is anchored by System Of A Down, which also headlined the inaugural fest. The billing of more than 65 artists also includes Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains, Primus, A Perfect Circle, Danny Elfman, Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Knocked Loose, Lamb of God, Killing Joke, Babymetal, Static-X, Jinjer and many more. Cirque du Soleil’s epic “O” is celebrating 25 years of performances this month at Bellagio and a special procession throughout the resort is planned this week. On Sunday, the show’s carousel horse will lead a parade of performers in their show costumes and members of the production crew through the casino, interacting with guests and hyping up everyone at Bellagio for the anniversary performance later that evening.
