Vincent Hales passed for three touchdown passes tonight for the Desert Oasis football team in a 24-7 playoff victory against visiting Spring Valley.
It was the third playoff win in the 15-year history of Desert Oasis.
“We are getting better each week. I am so proud of the kids,” coach Brant Smith said.
Troy Finch, Chris Villasenor and Maverick Moore had touchdown receptions for the Diamondbacks. Kacen Ono rushed for a 10-yard touchdown.
Desert Oasis plays Palo Verde in the next round.
“We still have a lot of work to do. It will take a tremendous effort to beat Palo Verde,” Smith said.
