Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross enjoy not being the boss sometimes

LOS ANGELES (AP) – One of the things that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails like about writing music for film is that they are not in charge. Reznor says it’s “surprisingly inspiring and fun” when they are presented with a scenario that needs music. He compares it to solving a riddle. However, Reznor says he and Ross have done several films in a row now, so they’re dying to do their own stuff again. Their latest film score is for the Zendaya movie “Challengers,” which comes out next week.

Phish will do four shows starting tonight at the Sphere, which features a giant stage and sound system that nearly wraps around the audience. Anastasio says they could have repeated and made a show that was “good,” but Phish is going for “astounding.” He says the four nights will have a theme and a lot of Easter eggs for fans.

Kate Hudson will release her debut album next month

NEW YORK (AP) – Actor Kate Hudson says the coronavirus pandemic made her realize that if she did not make an album, it would be a big regret. She will release her debut, “Glorious,” on May 17. Hudson has been writing songs since she was a teen, and she wrote all the songs on “Glorious.” Hudson says if one person listens to the album and feels something shift inside them, she has achieved success.
