Coronado quarterback passes for 5 TDs in win over Sierra Vista

Aiden Krause had five touchdown passes tonight for the Coronado football team in a 49-18 victory against visiting Sierra Vista.
JJ Buchanan had a pair of touchdown receptions, and running back Derek Hurley rushed for two scores. The star of the game, coach Shawn Dupris said, was the Cougars’ offensive line.
“Really proud of the offensive line. They played outstanding tonight, opening up big holes for the run game and giving (Krause) time to pass.”
Bubba Holper also had a pair of touchdown receptions for Coronado, who is a year removed from reaching the large school playoff semifinals.
Dupris, the second-year coach, says this team had a full offseason of training and is continuing the momentum from last year’s strong finish.
