Eldorado teacher aide charged with sexual misconduct, CCSD police say

An Eldorado High School teacher assistant has been arrested for alleged sexual misconduct, the Clark County School District Police Department said today.
District police said they arrested Jerusalem Garcia, 20, a specialized program teacher assistant, on Friday and booked her into the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of contacting or attempting to contact a minor by person of authority for the purpose of sex.
Police did not disclose details of the alleged misconduct.
Garcia has been a CCSD employee since 2021. She has been placed on leave per the terms of her union contract.
