Defense helps Mater East football beat Pinecrest Sloan Canyon

Daylin James passed for 375 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Mater East football team to a 44-12 win against Pinecrest Sloan Canyon on Friday night.
The Knights recorded a pair of defensive scores. Kwes Young had an interception return for a touchdown, and David Garcia Jr. scored on a fumble return.
