Virgin Valley wins again, this time topping Sunrise Mountain

Reece Leavitt had two receiving touchdowns and an interception for the Virgin Valley football team in a 39-6 win over Sunrise Mountain on Friday night.

Quarterback Koby Perry completed 6 of 8 passes for 110 yards and two scores to help the Bulldogs improve to 3-0 on the season. Perry also rushed for a touchdown.

“The offensive line is getting better and better up front,” coach Matt Woods said. “(Perry) had some really good throws for us tonight.”

Sophomore Drew Dixon rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.

Virgin Valley plays Mojave next week.
