Cheyenne football handles Valley, has 2 week break before league play

Treasure Harris had a kickoff return for a touchdown to go along with two rushing scores tonight for the Cheyenne football team in a 50-13 win over visiting Valley.
Khalil Burkes had a touchdown pass to Friday Ahunanya and also scored on a quarterback keeper.
Mykel Coenic and Chase Neal also scored for the Desert Shields (1-1 overall), who have a two week break before opening league play against Bonanza.
“We still have a lot of work to do,” coach Marcus DePriest said. “Winning is something we are still trying to get used to around here.”
