Super Bowl 2024 Las Vegas: Guide to events & celebrations

As hundreds of thousands are expected to descend on Las Vegas for its first-ever Super Bowl this weekend, the Entertainment Capital of the World is preparing to do what it does best.

A slew of events is slated to take place across the Las Vegas Valley over the next several days, including live shows from Grammy-award winning artists, massive tailgates, viewing parties of the so-called “Big Game” and indulgent feasts.

“The level of service that Vegas provides is, bar none, compared to anywhere else, an immediate enhancement of the Super Bowl,” Sam Joffray, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee, told the Sun. “What happens here every year for the Super Bowl with viewing parties, celebrations at casinos, the kind of party atmosphere that Vegas has every year — layer that on top of the actual Super Bowl and I think it’s going to be a next-level expectation center for all host cities.”

Wednesday, Feb. 7

Super Bowl Soulful Celebration, 7:30 p.m. at Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort

• This one-hour, televised concert hosted by comedian Cedric the Entertainer and actress Tichina Arnold will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this February as they party in honor of Super Bowl 58. It remains the first and only Gospel concert sanctioned by the National Football League, drawing both football players and artists like Patti LaBelle to the stage. This year’s artists have yet to be announced as of Jan. 23. Tickets start at $75 on Ticketmaster and can be purchased here.

Thursday, Feb. 8

Excessive Celebration Bowl Bash, 8 p.m., Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas

• The first ever Excessive Celebration Bowl Bash will be hitting Fremont Street from Feb. 8 through 10, starting with a performance from rock band STARSHIP featuring Mickey Thomas and culminating on Saturday with a headline act from The Offspring. Over four days, there will be 25 live performances and 150 hours of free entertainment across Fremont Street’s three stages. Free prizes will also be given out randomly by downtown hotel properties and the City of Las Vegas. You can learn more information here.

Playmakers Party at AZILO Ultra Pool and Lounge, 9 p.m., Sahara

• This charity event, presented by men’s lifestyle magazine FHM and Babes in Toyland and powered by the NFL Players Association of Los Angeles and football hall of famer Terrell Davis, will include appearances by over 200 influencers and models, as well as DJ Shift, DJ Stephi K and more. Big Game Weekend, 10:30 p.m., LIV Las Vegas at Fontainebleau

• Atlanta-based producer Metro Boomin starts off the LIV Las Vegas’ star-studded club lineup for Super Bowl weekend on Thursday. Fans can catch performances from his latest album, “Heroes & Villains” and past hits from a 2nd row balcony table for only $3,500 – the cheapest option. Friday, Feb. 9

Radio XX, 6 p.m., The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at the Cosmopolitan

• Described by the Cosmopolitan as “a Las Vegas rock staple,” Radio XX will kick off Super Bowl weekend with a performance at the resort’s luxury speakeasy. More information can be found here.

The One Party by Uber at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, p.m., BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau LV

• Uber One members can dance to the songs of rapper Post Malone among other special guests while dining on food from local restaurants on UberEats during this party at the Fontainebleau’s BleauLive Theater. You can sign up in the Uber application to become a member, but members will have received an invite via email to claim their tickets last week.

NFL Legends “Big Game Kickoff” Party, 8 p.m., A-Lot at AREA15

• Presented by USA TODAY in partnership with the NFL Alumni Association, The Legends Party will include appearances from players like Hines Ward and Matt Ryan, a performance from musician Jason Derulo, as well as a slew of food and beverages, a meet-and-greet opportunity and more.. Chemistry: An Intimate night with Kelly Clarkson, 8 p.m., Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood.

Shaq’s Fun House 2024, 10 p.m. doors open, XS at the Wynn/Encore

• Described as “part carnival, part music festival,” Shaq’s Fun House – organized by former basketball star Shaquille O’Neal – is taking over the XS Nightclub for a “legendary fan experience” that includes an immersive carnival and performances from artists like Lil Wayne, Diplo and more. O’Neal will even take the stage as DIESEL for a special DJ set during this 21 and over event. Saturday, Feb. 10

37th Annual Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party, 12 p.m., Ahern Luxury Boutique Hotel

• The 37th Annual Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party will feature the 11th Annual Brain Health Summit, a red carpet, the Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Awards, ICON Hall of Fame, the Player X Experience and a charity poker tournament among other events. Celebrity talent include Champion boxer Floyd Mayweather, three-time Super Bowl MVP Joe Montana, Seinfeld actor Patrick Warburton and rapper Raekwon of the Wu Tang Clan.

Planet 13 Tailgate Party, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Planet 13

• Former NFL running back Ricky Williams will be joining Planet 13 – the world’s largest cannabis dispensary superstore — on Saturday to launch his new cannabis brand Highsman Sticky Ricky. Meet Williams and partake in some of the big game specials at the adjacent Trece & Bar 13.

Ne-Yo, Tank and Mario Big Game Weekend, 4 p.m., Sahara Theatre

Tiësto, 10:30 p.m., LIV Las Vegas at Fontainebleau

• Tiësto will be taking the stage at the Fontainebleau’s nightclub during the big game weekend, set to play hits like “Thank You (Not So Bad),” “Lay Low” and “10:35.” Best Available tables start at $9,500, which include a table with no specific location, but the “most exceptional and direct views of the DJ and stage” will cost you about $70,000. South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa “Big Game” viewing parties, 10:30 a.m., the Showroom, Grand Ballroom and Exhibit Hall at South Point

• Big game viewing parties at this off-Strip resort, presented by Pepsi, will be free to guests over 21. Seating is available on a first come-first serve basis. More information can be found here.

SoberBowl Vegas ’24, 12 p.m., Clark County Amphitheater

• Join Clark County for a family-friendly big game celebration featuring NFL legends, live music, comedy and appearances by comedian Craig Gass, American blues rock singer-songwriter Huntley and Five Finger Death Punch bassist Chris Kael. Food trucks and vendors will be on-site. Tickets for adults – 13 years of age or older – include free parking and start at $20 online or $25 at the door. • A beverage package at $140 for this event, with Marshall Faulk and Terrell Owens, gets you unlimited premium liquor, beer, hard seltzer and prosecco until halftime, while a $180 food-and-beverage package will add in hot dogs, chili and other game-day favorites. The “Ultimate Tailgate Party” package includes an $800 food and beverage minimum, and guests can choose between a daybed, cabana, bungalow or party pit, depending on the size of their group. Barbershops Cut & Cocktails Big Game viewing party, 1 p.m., the Cosmopolitan

• This speakeasy at the Cosmopolitan will offer guests a limited-time food menu, from Wagyu sliders to sweet potato fries with tzatziki sauce, to enjoy as they watch the Super Bowl. Radio XX will take the stage Sunday night, once the game has been won. • This revered sports bar will offer bar seating with big-screen viewing, with pricing starting at just over $288 for guaranteed bar seating with big-screen viewing, and a $225 food and beverage credit for “mouthwatering game day fare, drinks and bottle service,” according to a release. Gatsby’s Big Game Viewing Party, 2 p.m., Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge at Resorts World Las Vegas

• Guests at Gatsby's can enjoy viewing of the Super Bowl from multiple screens, themed drinks, photo opportunities and more. A live DJ performance will begin at 10 p.m. following the game’s end. Eight Lounge’s Big Game Bash, 2 p.m., Resorts World Las Vegas

• Eight’s Lounge, located inside Resorts World, will offer guests signature cigars and cocktails, as well as live entertainment from DJ Coffin Candy following the game. The Tavern Big Game Viewing Party, 2 p.m., Fontainebleau Las Vegas

• When the Fontainebleau debuted in December, so did its slew of new food and beverage concepts — including the Tavern, a bar and restaurant attached to the resort’s sportsbook. In addition to complimentary admission with an open premium bar and available menu upgrades, the Tavern will also offer premium and VIP seating, potentially including couch and lounge seating, as well as a 180-degree LED video wall to watch the Big Game. Bleau Blitz - Big Game Viewing Party, 2 p.m., LIV at Fontainebleau

• Attendees of this watch party at the Fontainebleau’s LIV nightlife experience will be treated to the “ultimate VIP viewing experience,” per a release from the resort. The event will feature high-definition televisions, food and beverage and premium seating. Admission is complimentary, though hotel guests will be given expedited entry, and seating is available for reservation here. You must be over 21 years old.

Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant - Big Game viewing party, 2 p.m., Durango Casino & Resort

• One of many food and beverage concepts recently opened at the Durango, Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant will offer fans “an electrifying atmosphere with a theater-style setup, featuring multiple HDTVs positioned throughout the restaurant and a state-of-the-art sound system to heighten the thrill of the game,” with a menu of fajitas, chicken taquitos and more, according to a release. Fans are highly encouraged to reserve seating, with a minimum food and beverage purchase of $175 per person.

Bel-Aire Lounge - The Big Game, 2 p.m., Durango Casino & Resort

• Clique Hospitality’s new cocktail lounge inside the Durango promises an “unforgettable afternoon,” per a release, with a theater-style setup of 10 HDTVs and a state-of-the-art sound system to watch the Super Bowl. Food and beverage packages, offering stadium grub like nachos and hotdogs, are available starting at $250 per person, and there will also be a charcuterie table and carving station available for guests over the course of the day. Proper Eats Big Game Watch Party, 2 p.m., Aria

• The different stations in the Aria’s food hall will offer tailgate-inspired eats in an all-you-can-eat buffet for guests over the age of 21 on Super Bowl Sunday. Food and beverage packages start at $200 and can be reserved here.

ameriCAN Big Game Party 2024, 2 p.m., ameriCAN Beer & Cocktails on the Linq Promenade

• ameriCAN will offer a premium open bar from 2 p.m. to the end of the Super Bowl game itself. General admission tickets, which include guaranteed seating, priced at $217 per person and available here.

Off The Strip Bistro + Bar Watch Party, 2 p.m., Linq Promenade

• This bistro and bar will offer a premium open bar and all-you-can-eat buffet on its second floor, for $175 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 702-331-6800.

CRUSH, 2:30 p.m., MGM Grand

• Morton Group’s American grill, CRUSH, will offer game fare like BBQ pork sliders, coleslaw and more to guests who watch the Super Bowl there Sunday, with packages starting at $149 per person. Make your reservations here, or by calling 702-891-3222.

Maxie’s, 3 p.m., Linq Promenade

The Sundry Big Game Watch Party, 2:30 p.m., the Uncommons

• The Uncommons, a new mixed-use community in the southwest Las Vegas Valley, will host a viewing party at its food hall with timeless game-day food and beverage options like wings, sliders, beer, wine and more. The Sundry is equipped with multiple large screens to ensure a great viewing experience, per a release, and guests can also play classic yard games like corn hole. General Admission Big Game 58 viewing party, 2:30 p.m., the Uncommons

• This new Las Vegas sports bar at the mixed-use community, Uncommons, in southwest Las Vegas is offering guests table reservations priced at $150 per seat to watch the Super Bowl, or a standing room spot with three drink tickets for $50. Reservations can be made here.

Big Game Immersive Viewing Party, 2:30 p.m., The Portal at AREA15

• View the Super Bowl through a 360-projection experience on multiple 23-foot walls with state-of-the-art sound, with an all-you-can-eat buffet and a two-hour open bar. La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway, 2:30 p.m., Wynn

• For an elevated viewing of the Super Bowl, hit up this classy restaurant on the northern end of the Strip, where there you can eat ahi tuna poke, loaded tater tots, chicken wings and more, and enjoy a bottomless bar.
