Blake Shelton’s highly anticipated Ole Red country music venue and saloon opened this week at Horseshoe Las Vegas on the Strip, and the star singer “couldn’t be more excited.” The four-story building is the largest of the six locations for the brand, at 27,000 square feet with seating for 686 guests, and the 4,500-square-foot rooftop offers unparalleled views. “This location is right in the thick of things, dead center of the strip, and it’s the perfect place to come, have some great food and drinks, and listen to some country music,” Shelton said in a statement. “This bar is huge with balconies and indoor and outdoor stages. There’s nothing else like it in Vegas, and it’s perfect.” Nightly live music is planned, including “premier country acts from Nashville,” favorite local bands and DJs. Two singers very familiar with Las Vegas stages are teaming up for a co-headlining tour that will make an absolutely necessary stop in town at the Palms. Jewel and Melissa Etheridge will team up for a show at the Pearl Concert Theater on July 24 at 7:30 p.m., and tickets, starting at $45, go on sale Friday at ticketmaster.com.
