Janet Jackson Launches New Residency

The Lovers & Friends Festival has announced the lineup for its third annual event, set for May 4 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, and it’s the biggest collection of star talent yet for the R&B, pop and hip-hop-flavored fest. Usher, Janet Jackson and Backstreet Boys are slated to headline, with performances from Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Nas, Alicia Keys, Nelly Furtado, Ludacris, Mary J. Blige, Ciara, TLC, Timbaland, Ja Rule, Ashanti, T-Pain, M.I.A., Keyshia Cole, Brandy, Monica, Eve, Jodeci and many more also scheduled. Concertgoers can sign up to receive a ticket presale access code for January 26 at loversandfriendsfest.com.

Here are the rest of this week’s Vegas entertainment announcements: Starship featuring Mickey Thomas has been added to the Excessive Celebration Bowl Bash at the Fremont Street Experience, taking the stage on February 8; Post Malone will return to Fontainebleau Las Vegas for Super Bowl weekend, headlining the One Party by Uber on February 9; comedian Ron White will perform at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan for the first time on April 6; Jo Koy has added another date to his world tour for April 26 at T-Mobile Arena; TV and radio personality Brian Kilmeade will perform at the Grand Events Center at Green Valley Ranch Resort on April 27; ZZ Top will be back in town on May 4 at the Pearl Concert Theater; and rockers Great White will play the Chrome Showroom at Santa Fe Station on November 29.
