Nephi Oliva, 50, also known as Nephi Khaliki is seen in a booking photo. Oliva has been charged with posing as a concealed carry instructor and is accused of operating with a revoked license.

A man was charged Tuesday with posing as a licensed concealed carry weapons instructor after having his license revoked, according to Metro Police.

Nephi Oliva, who also goes by Nephi Khaliki, was arrested on several felony charges, including forgery, fraud or deceit in course of occupation and use of personal identifying information of another person, police said.

Oliva had a CCW instructor license, but it was revoked by the Nevada Sheriffs’ and Chiefs’ Association in August of last year, police said. Oliva would provide paperwork signed by an active CCW instructor even when he was instructing the class, police said.

Police did not release information on where Oliva is from or where he operated.
