A man is dead after a hit-and-run in North Las Vegas early Saturday morning, according to North Las Vegas Police.
The victim was pushing a shopping cart across the roadway on Losee Road when a Jeep struck him, police said. Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene, police said.
Surveillance video obtained by police showed the Jeep pulling over briefly before leaving the scene, heading northbound on Losee Road through the Craig road intersection.
The death is still under investigation, and the suspect and vehicle have yet to be found, police said.
