Three people are confirmed dead after a crash on State Route 163 Saturday involving a semi-trailer truck and at least one motorcycle, according to the Nevada State Department of Safety.
The crash occurred just past 2:30 p.m. near mile marker 11 on the road, officials said. The incident is still under a preliminary investigation, and all travel lanes on the highway near the crash remain closed.
A spokesperson for the department said those on the roadway should avoid the area and expect delays in travel times due to the closure. Officials did not specify when the lanes would re-open.
