After slow first half, Foothill football finds way against Clark

The Foothill football team scored 28 unanswered points tonight to close the game against visiting Clark in a 35-7 victory.
Eugene Altobella III led the way with a pair of rushing touchdowns, and quarterback Brennon Arthur completed 13 of 23 passes for 249 yards to help the Falcons avoid Clark’s upset bid. The game was tied 7-7 at halftime.
Braxton Bonnett hauled in five catches for 135 yards, and Avant Gates Jr. and Austin Barrowes had rushing scores.
“We picked up the pace a little bit in the second half and got going,” coach Vernon Brown said.
