Faith Lutheran football finishes strong in league win over Shadow Ridge

Cale Breslin had three touchdown runs tonight for the Faith Lutheran football team in a 35-20 victory over host Shadow Ridge in the Class 5A, Division II league opener.
Faith Lutheran outscored Shadow Ridge 28-7 in the second half and closed with 21 unanswered points, including scoring runs of 2 and 30 yards from Breslin. Breslin, who is verbally committed to BYU, also had a 53-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
Faith Lutheran (4-0, 1-0) quarterback Alex Rogers had a 52-yard touchdown pass to Jack Brascia, and a 27-yard scoring strike to Aipa Kuloloia.
