Heriberto Velez-Mercado caught three touchdown passes from Alexander Mercurius on Friday night for the Durango football team in a 19-0 win at Boulder City.
It was the program’s fourth straight win — after snapping an 11-game losing streak.
“The kids are still working hard,” coach Robert Cutts said. “It’s the first taste of success they have had in some time, and they are going to keep working hard and doing things the right way.”
