Moapa Valley scores on 1st play in win over Boulder City

Gavyn Frederick had a 70-yard touchdown run for the Moapa Valley football team on the Pirates’ first play from scrimmage tonight in a 49-6 win over Boulder City.
Quarterback Talon Schraft passed and rushed for a pair of touchdowns, helping Moapa Valley get back to its winning ways after a tough defeat last week against Slam Nevada. Moapa Valley surrendered a late lead.
“That was a very disappointing loss for us,” Moapa Valley coach Brent Lewis said. “We didn’t get the job done.
Kamden Drosos had a rushing and receiving touchdown, and Jared Evans scored on a fumble return.
