Tyrell Craven rushed for 205 yards and five touchdowns today on only nine carries for the Shadow Ridge football team in a 49-21 win over visiting Citrus of California.

Craven has 15 rushing touchdowns on the season, including 11 in the past two weeks.

Coach Travis Foster singled out offensive lineman Jamarion Whitson for his work in the run game, saying “he was wrecking people” in clearing a path for Craven.

Trevin Young added two rushing touchdowns for Shadow Ridge. Next week, the Mustangs have a showdown with Legacy.

“We played better tonight,” Foster said. “We saw some improvements defensively and forced some turnovers.”
