Las Vegas football shuts down Desert Oasis

Tanner Vibabul passed for a pair of touchdowns to Mychael Walker today for the Las Vegas High football team in a 33-12 win over Desert Oasis.
Vibabul also rushed for two scores in helping Las Vegas win its fourth straight game and improve to 5-1 overall.
“The kids played hard; they fought hard,” coach Jose Cerriteño said. “We keep expressing to them to prepare the best we can to have success.”
Chris Boddy added a touchdown run for Las Vegas, and the Las Vegas defense held Desert Oasis’ passing attack in check. Desert Oasis entered averaging 37 points per game.
“We had our hands full. That’s a tough offense,” Cerriteño said.
