Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Announcement

NASCAR announced that the new Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be called the South Point Hotel & Casino Las Vegas 400. The multi-year agreement will make the Michael Gaughan-owned property sponsor of the South Point 400 beginning in 2018. The 267-lap race will be the very first race in the 2017 Cup playoff series.
