Las Vegas Fire & Rescue firefighter Zach Lamboo picks up supporter Dorothy Aguilar as she congratulates him for winning a burger eating contest at Farmer Boys Thursday, May 16, 2019. Lamboo ate 10 burgers earning $1,000 for The Southern Nevada Burn Foundation. In celebration of National Burger Month teams of firefighters from Las Vegas County Fire and Las Vegas Fire & Rescue gathered for a head-to-head burger eating contest benefitting The Southern Nevada Burn Foundation. Farmer Boys donated $100 for each burger eaten by the firefighters during the 20 minute competition to the foundation, which supports fire victims and their families. Together the firefighters ate 47 burgers winning $4,700 for the foundation.
