Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Lawrence Howell, the Rite of Passage Executive Director, tour the Canyon View Transitional Living Home for victims of human trafficking Thursday, March 2, 2021. In August 2020, Senator Cortez Masto announced that the Rite of Passage Adolescent Treatment Centers the Housing Assistance for Victims of Human Trafficking Grant in the amount of $499,950.00 from the United States Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) to provide safe, stable housing and appropriate services to victims of human trafficking.
