Airport Changed to Harry Reid International Airport

Elected officials and community leaders gather to celebrate the official renaming of the McCarran International Airport to the Harry Reid International Airport at the airport in Las Vegas Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021. Former Senator Harry Reid (D-Nev.) served in the United States Senate from 1987 to 2017 and as Senate Majority Leader from 2007 to 2015. Reid is the longest-serving U.S. senator in Nevada history.
