LV5 Ghost Bike Unveiling and Memorial

Cyclists, family and friends attend the LV5 Ghost Bike unveiling and memorial at Las Vegas Ball Park’s south lot in Las Vegas Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021. The ghost bike honors Aksoy Ahmet, 48, Michael Murray, 57, Gerrard Nieva, 41, Erin Ray, 39, and Tom Trauger, 57. The cyclists were killed when they were stuck by a box truck on U.S. Highway 95 on Dec. 10, 2020. The ghost bike will be temporarily displayed by the bike path near West Charleston Road and I-215, said Pat Treichel, founder of Ghost Bikes Las Vegas.
