Golden Gate Celebrates 118 Years

The Golden Gate hotel-casino celebrates 118 years of operation in downtown Las Vegas Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024. Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman presented a proclamation that officially declared Jan. 18, 2024 as Golden Gate Hotel and Casino Day. The casino opened as Hotel Nevada with 10 rooms on Jan. 18, 1906.
