He won't pay attention to this poll.
Thanks for trying!
For whatever it's worth, I don't support him, but I think he should run, and be voted out of office. Let the people do it for him.
Well what else would you expect from a Sun poll?
The secretive "C Street" cult of congressional thugs says that "some" are chosen to rule others, and regardless, they will never give up that power--they are "special".
The arrogant Ensign is a member of that cult, and those ARE his priorities.
The republicans live in a world that says to the rest of us, "Do as I say; not as I do", and expect us to honor that hypocrisy. Not a chance!
They are sickening and Ensign should resign. WHY would the GOP keep a person who publically violates their own claims to "moral superiority" over the rest of America...because they are NOT morally superior to anyone.
We are all equal as human beings, but the GOP have continued to build the foundation of their party on INequality.
jerhig Just got to love those sniveling right wingers. There is always a cynical plot unless it is one of their own. Just how many right wing news papers and talk shows are there.
The real issue is Ensign wanted Clintons head for the same thing,as well as Larry Craig's and now he is a hypocrite for not following his own rules.
This isn't about Ensign anymore. His actions not in cheating but in demanding Clinton and Craig resign and in using public funds to hire a staffer for sex and in living in a "conservative church" lol to cheat taxpayers makes NEVADA look bad if there isn't a demand for his resignation. He doesn't care about what this does to Nevada's clout - and the SIN STATE is becoming a joke because of this. Read accounts of this around the nation. "Only Nevadans would tolerate Ensign because they don't care about morals"
Hand out the bumper stickers: "No Sin, Like Ensign!"
Before the "Ensign Affair" story broke, I always thought Ensign was best known as the "other guy" in the Congress with the best tan -- along with Congressman Boehner of Ohio. Makes you wonder where they spend their time - in DC or on the golf course and government paid junkets? As if his clandestine affair isn't enough of an embarrassment to Nevada, the thought of a 51 year old man having his mom and pop try to bail him out with their $96 K bribe to the Hamptons is pathetic. But why should this effete loser resign when he can hang around for another two years supported by the taxpayers? Just like his Republican buddy Larry Craig, he can pad his overly lucrative government retirement account and lifetime benefit package, courtesy of us taxpayers and then declare that he won't seek re-election. Nevada voters would be doing the state, as well as the country a great service to recall him from office if he doesn't have the decency to resign. On second thought, since Gov. Gibbons would appoint himself or some other Republican buffoon, maybe Ensign should run for re-election and be defeated by someone who will do a better job of representing Nevada.
I am a Republican and fairly conservative, however; this type of behavior by anyone regardless of political affiliation, gender, race, sex, etc. is disgaceful and shows a lack of character and backbone. By staying in office or runnng again he is only embarrasing himself. Wow! We just get the county partially cleaned out and it gets worse!
Reading " The Family" about the C street cult, it's scarry how arrogant and infallible the Ensign, Sanford, Coburn etc....consider themselves, even raping children is excused since they're chosen from God to govern????A Taliban in the making? Lets call the hypocrites for what they really are and keep reminding them of their preachings. Since Reagan, these types have gotten away with way too much and where did it bring us? Dumb, dumb and dumber!
