Nothing is the same any more.
Diffrernt people com here with diferent plans on how, when and where one spends their money.
But the fact that people come here to begin with their firsteps leaves Vegas to believe that their is no other destinstiny city that has everything to offer From every corner of the stripe, to every corner of downtown, to the mom and pops venders on the streets, to every corner of our valley Sporting events taking in every corner of yalley. Our city is alive 24/7. Tell your friends that our city will be comping people coming into town and they will be taken care of. Las Vegas Is Just Starting new Plans for a new future. Who wants to be part of the new Vegas Millelnia? It's deffinately coming.
the new future
It's all about money and too many greedy people there. You can't trust nobody when approached on the streets and I don't like all these vendors trying to sell water bottles on the bridges crossing the Strip. Also, too many vending places at Fremont Street. I feel like being on a carnival, but the true thing, that's gambling, has become only a minor business. And the odds are getting worse and worse. it's not a nice way to go. And it shows.
First you must have discretionary spending.
Without that the overhead will kill small casinos first.
No telling how long it will take to bring down the major players.
The day that no one can make a profit things will change drasticaly.
Only the Have's and not the Have Not's will keep it alive.
I will not live long enough to worry about it.
When people are employed and taking weekend trips and vacations again Vegas will return to health. That's about 6 months after the employment rate returns to a normal number. IMO it will be 4th quarter 2010 at the current pace.
What are the 15% taking who said that the economy is coming back or will be back in a year? My guess they are Obama supporters.
As long as there is a democratic and a republican battling against each other,. the people will suffer because the republicans don't care about anyone, they are SO OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE PEOPLE !!
