Two killed, two wounded in shooting in alley

Four people were walking through an alley Saturday night when someone opened fire on them, killing two of the victims and wounding the other two, police said.

The shooting happened about 11:20 p.m. in the 700 block of East Twain Avenue, police said.

The victims were heading toward a convenience store when they were approached by three unidentified males, police said.

One of the males pulled a gun and started shooting at the group, hitting all four people, police said.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The other victims were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where another man died, police said. The condition of the two surviving victims was not released.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the names of the deceased, police said.

After the shooting, the other group fled on foot, police said. No arrests have been made, and the motive for the shooting is unknown, police said.
