Firefighters were battling a blaze this morning at an apartment complex in the 5800 block of Lake Mead Boulevard, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials said.
Nobody was injured, officials said.
The fire was reported about 7:45 a.m. in an upstairs unit of a two-story building, officials said.
Neighbors reported that the unit was supposed to be vacant but was being used by squatters, officials said.
