Metro Police close the Strip near Circus Circus as they look for a gunman suspected in a shooting at the property’s amusement park.

A juvenile has been arrested in a shooting Saturday at Circus Circus that left four people wounded, according to Metro Police.

The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. at the north Strip resort’s Adventuredome amusement area after a fight broke out among a group of juveniles and young adults, police said.

At some point, the suspect pulled a handgun and opened fire, police said. He was located a short time later in a hotel room on the property and taken into custody without incident, police said.

The suspect was taken to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center and booked on counts including attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a minor, police said.

The victims were taken to area hospitals and listed in stable condition, police said.

A small portion of the resort was blocked off Saturday during the investigation led by Metro’s gang section, authorities said.
