An apartment sustained extensive damage Sunday night after a possible explosion and fire, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
The incident was reported about 10:20 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 4900 block of Lakespur Street, near Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard, officials said.
When firefighters arrived, flames were coming from the front of the building. It took about five minutes to bring the blaze under control, officials said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, officials said.
The fire left the apartment uninhabitable, and the American Red Cross was contacted to assist one man, officials said.
