No animals were injured when a fire broke out at a dog boarding facility in the west valley, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
The fire was reported about 8:30 p.m. Friday at the business near Flamingo Road and Grand Canyon Drive, officials said.
A small fire was located near the rear of the building that was caused by a lithium battery for a small appliance that was being charged, officials said.
The fire was contained by the building sprinkler system, officials said.
