Las Vegas woman, 33, killed in single-car crash

A 33-year-old Las Vegas woman was killed in a single-car crash early today in the west valley, according to Metro Police.

A car was headed west on Flamingo Road about 4:15 a.m. when it hit the center median at Tenaya Way and crashed into a light pole, police said.

The driver was taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said. Her name was not released, pending notification of family members.

The crash remains under investigation, police said.
